TO CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION, go to EVENTBRITE.COM and click on the My Tickets link to request a refund of the original reservation. To re-book a new date, simply buy new tickets. If you used a voucher/certificate to book your reservation, you must cancel your original reservation on Eventbrite.com, but request a refund from the company you purchased the voucher/certificate from. Full refunds are given for cancellations made before 12:00 PM on the day of the ghost tour. NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN FOR CUSTOMER CANCELLATIONS AFTER 12:00 NOON THE DAY OF THE TOUR. Cancellations after 12 noon can be rescheduled or be assigned a non-expiring Promotional Code upon request.

WE WILL EMAIL AND/OR PHONE YOU BY 5:00 PM TO CANCEL IF THE WEATHER CONDITIONS BELOW ARE NOT MET. To check weather conditions, visit WEATHER.COM, enter city and state, and click on the Hourly forecast for 8:00 PM.

YOUR GHOST TOUR WILL NOT BE HELD UNDER ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING WEATHER CONDITIONS: If the weather at 8:00 PM is predicted to be at or below 40 degrees F, with winds at or greater than 12 mph, and rain or snow is anything more than as "steady light" or "sporadic moderate", the tour will likely not be held. Distant thunder and lightning is usually OK (even preferred!). Any night meeting most, if not all, of these weather conditions may be subject to rescheduling. If you're unsure and haven't been contacted by 5:00 PM, call 630-978-7033...

Gratuities are gratefully accepted since tips are a major part of your host's compensation. 15% to 20% is suggested.




Due to uncertain health, "America's Ghost Storyteller" is not always up to hosting...but she'll sure try to give as many tours as she can.





Yes...comfortable walking shoes, APPROPRIATE DRESS FOR THE WEATHER and an open mind. Cameras are encouraged; guests have captured unexplained shadows and orbs during the tour! It's worth repeating... DRESS FOR THE WEATHER! You would not BELIEVE how many people wear shorts and flip-flops in 40 degree weather! We reserve the right to smack anybody upside the head who does such an appalling thing.




Either way is fine, though most people prefer to dine beforehand and enjoy drinks and dessert afterwards. We highly recommend dining at your departure restaurant, not only for the convenience but for their excellent food and ambiance (yes, Quigley's and Roundhouse are said to be haunted!).



Refunds are available ONLINE ONLY by going to Eventbrite.com and clicking on the My Tickets tab. NO REFUNDS ARE GRANTED AFTER 12 NOON THE DAY OF YOUR TOUR. Cancellations after 12 noon will be rescheduled or will be assigned a non-expiring Promotional Code in the amount you paid to rebook for a later date.
